BEST MAB supports foreign personnel across the operations that keep energy and maritime projects moving in Turkey: open-sea and land drilling, shipyard crews, sea drilling and land drilling, Turkish-flag and foreign-flag vessels, and cargo ships.
The assignment — not a single form — decides the route. A short technical visit may fit a work-permit exemption or an assembly visa. A longer posting under a Turkish employer is usually a long-term work permit. We look at nationality, role, duration, and the project calendar before the file starts.
Installation, maintenance, commissioning, and other defined short assignments are often an assembly visa or a work-permit exemption. An AMS / Assembly Visa is the entry route for machine and equipment assembly, installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and technical service. It is not a long-term work permit. If the same person will be employed for months under a Turkish employer, plan the long-term permit, including extensions. If the activity itself qualifies for a statutory exemption, E-Exemption may run with or after entry.
Tell us the vessel, rig, or yard, the role, and how long the person will be in Turkey. We will map the file to the route that matches the work.
